The Sheridan Gorman memorial should shock the conscience of open-border fanatics

Jessica Gorman just posed a fine test to Congress’ open-border fanatics: Do they dare sit on the wooden bench she’s donated in memory of her daughter?

New report says companies are starting to avoid the culture war

Democrats abandon the blue-collar worker in favor of ‘social justice’ warriors

CHESWICK, Pennsylvania — Up until two years ago, it would only take 12 hours for coal mined deep in a labyrinth operation 60 miles from here to go from that underground mine, through a high-tech cleaning procedure, and be loaded on a barge or rail car and brought to the Cheswick Generating Station, a coal-fired power plant, to light communities along the Allegheny River for generations.

Mike Pence’s ill-starred presidential run

MIKE PENCE'S ILL-STARRED PRESIDENTIAL RUN. On paper, has there ever been a more qualified candidate for president than Mike Pence? Twelve years in the House of Representatives, four as governor of Indiana, and four as vice president of the United States. No president in at least the last 30 years has come to office with that kind of resume.

D-Day is about the heroism of finishing a fight

Mark D-Day on a timeline, and then mark today. The near mid-point of that line would be Ronald Reagan’s famous 1984 speech at Normandy — it was the 40th anniversary of D-Day, and it was 39 years ago today.

MLB wouldn’t have invited drag queen group if it mocked any religion other than Christianity

Every year, during the so-called “Pride” month, there are a lot of outlandish styles and people in scantily clad, lewd, and inappropriate clothing. But with all the leather masks and outfits, nothing has become as fashionable as mocking Christianity. Major League Baseball reinforced this assertion with the Los Angeles Dodgers inviting, disinviting, and reinviting the satirical, anti-Christian performance group Sisters of Perpetual Indulgence. If any despicable acts the Sisters of Perpetual Indulgence performed ridiculed Muslims or Jewish people, they would never be welcomed. Moreover, they would probably be considered a hate group.

Another step to becoming the parent party

A younger generation of Republicans is committed to making theirs the parent party, and getting creative to do it. Take, for instance, Sen. J.D. Vance's (R-OH) amendment that didn’t make it into the $2.5 trillion debt limit deal Congress passed last week, which would have eliminated the marriage penalty on the Earned Income Tax Credit (EITC) program.

Trump should focus less on DeSantis and more on Biden

Despite nearly every one of his supporters’ claims to the contrary, former President Donald Trump seems obsessed with Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis. It comes across as if Trump fears DeSantis’s candidacy, again, despite nearly every one of Trump’s supporters' comments to the contrary.
