This morning at an interview with CNN, Mike Bloomberg was asked by Fareed Zakaria about what would make him decide to run for the next presidential election in 2020?

“Right now I am only focused on mid-terms, I believe that republicans have  not done what they should have done in terms of providing some counterbalance to the executive branch which is what the founding fathers planned…and also not tackling the big issues which is guns, climate change and income inequality, immigration in a sound way …so that’s what I am gone focus on…and afterwords you take a look at it.” said Bloomberg.

He continued to say that he “cares a lot about this country, I’ve devoted my life and all my net-worth to trying to make the world a better place because I think that’s the best thing i can do for my kids and grandkids … and we’d see whether or not it’s possible …and how I feel …depends down the road.”

He went on to point out his 12ve years he spent as Mayor of New York City, and how that compares to the work of the President. He said that he would definitely do well if he run against Trump.

Bloomberg also shared his thoughts on the Kavanaugh case: “You are considering the character and the abilities of somebody’s who is going to have a job for life. There is no rush whatsoever…there is no argument that says that we should anything other than investigate everything. I think on balance today, I would not vote for Kavanaugh.”
